Homeowner's insurance provides essential protection against potential losses due to fire, theft, or other unforeseen events.  It's important to have it in place to protect the investment in your home.

All lenders require you to carry homeowner’s insurance. If you are purchasing a condominium, your lender will require proof of only the master condominium policy. However, we recommend you also purchase a condominium unit owner’s policy to protect you from risks not covered by the master condominium policy. No matter what type of property you are purchasing, you are responsible for having the appropriate insurance policy in effect before arriving at the closing.
